Knock, knock, who’s there
For the past month a team of 10 patrollers has been visiting homes in Sherbrooke to inspect drainage gutters to ensure they conform to regulations adopted last year. The inspectors plan to visit 20,000 homes in the city offering suggestions to those who have not yet conformed to the new rules.

Improperly installed gutters overload the sewage treatment plant during heavy rains and cause the overflow of wastewater into rivers and contribute to increased erosion. For more information, visit also section www.ville.sherbrooke.qc.ca environment.
